School Council
The Barons Court School Council has opened its doors once again and the children within our school community are representing the voice of all the children.
Our School Council representatives are:
- Reliable, kind and respectful.
- Proud of our school and want it to be the best it can be!
- Listen carefully to the views of others and take their ideas on board.
- Commit time to this role and are enthusiastic by actioning the ideas within their own time (if needed).
We look forward to sharing our projects and ideas with you over the coming year.
The School Council have made a fantastic start to the year. We have decided that we will have three focuses: Playground Pals, reaccreditation of the International Award and pupil wellbeing. We have firstly been focusing on setting up Playground Pals, which has meant that children always have someone to go and play with or talk to if they are feeling lonely. Every lunchtime, our School Council Playground Pals work hard to ensure that children are having positive lunchtime experiences. The School Council have also worked with Mrs Ali to submit an action plan to the British Council and are pleased to say this has been approved! This will mean that the School Council will lead on seven projects this academic year linked to International learning which will hopefully help us achieve the International Award for 2025-2029.
