At Barons Court, we feel passionately that the most significant thing that you, as parents, can do to support your child's learning is to share books with them on a regular basis. Books can be enjoyed by reading to your child, listening to your child read and talking about what you are reading. Becoming a confident reader, who is able to understand a range of texts, is important as it allows a child to grow in confidence and access all areas of the curriculum.  We would encourage you to read with your child for short periods throughout the week to establish a real life of reading. As a school we have provided a range of recommended reading materials for you all to enjoy!
